Experienced musicians, dancers and pedagogues have joined together to acquaint you with a broad collection of rhythms and dance and introduce you to other cultures. You will have fun, relax and actively spend your spare time with us.

Programme implementation:
President of the Baobab Arts and Culture Association: Maša Kagao Knez (choreographer, dancer)
Dancers: Dalanda Diallo, Laetitia Zinsou, Lea Menard, Sara Zaninovič, Malala Tina Kovačič and others.
Musicians: Issiaka Sanou, Blaž Korez, Damir Mazrek, Igor Leonardi, Asja Grauf and others.

The programme depends on the nature of the event you are organising. We can adjust the programme to your requirements and the type of event. The prices are subject to agreement.

Duration: full-length or individual numbers depending on your requirements and the type of event.

AFRICAN SPECTACLE
Through dance, music, singing and colourful costumes a dance and music group will lead into the heart of the African continent and offer a glimpse of African culture. The programme consists of a variety of traditional dance forms, from seductive dances with soft motion and undulating bodies accompanied by gentle music to fierce war dances accompanied by various African rhythms.

THE OLE-EBA! PERFORMANCE
The groups CANA FLAMENCA & LAAFI combine African rhythms and the Spanish temperament to explore parallels between them in music and dance. The synthesis of the two cultures will conjure a sensual and passionate atmosphere.

ANIMATIONS AT TEAM-BUILDING EVENTS

The purpose of these animations is to create a harmony among team members through percussion sounds and to enable you to let go to relaxation, laughter, joy and dance. Types of animations: percussions, dance or both.
The animations are appropriate for groups up to 20 people but we can arrange for larger groups as well.

PROGRAMME FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH

A VISIT TO AN AFRICAN VILLAGE, AN INTERACTIVE PERFORMANCE
FOR CHILDREN AGED THREE YEARS AND OLDER
The children can view a dance and music performance that uses movement to tell a story about the life and work of inhabitants of a traditional African village.
(Duration: 45min)

CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
FOR CHILDREN AGED TEN AND YOUNGER
Introduction to rhythm, movement of the body and other cultures through dance and music for groups of 20 children or more (subject to agreement).
(Duration: 30 to 60min)

DANCE AND MUSIC WORKSHOPS
FOR CHILDREN AGED TEN AND YOUNGER
We offer African, Oriental, modern and flamenco dance workshops as well as percussions workshops.
(Duration: one-hour, two-hour or multi-day workshops)
