WORKSHOPS

In addition to regular courses, the Baobab Studio also organises workshops throughout the year.
The workshops are performed as intensive training over a weekend or several consecutive days.
The workshops are led by visiting and Studio Baobab's regular pedagogues.
They are intended for all levels of dance and musical knowledge.

In 2009, the Baobab Arts and Culture Association and the African Centre of Slovenia, supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia, organised a series of free dance and music workshops and lectures led by dance and music pedagogues and various experts on African culture.

In 2009/2010, the Baobab Arts and Culture Association, sponsored by the European Social Fund and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia, is implementing the ISAK project on the topic of the expressive world of African culture with the aim of promoting African culture with active participation of immigrants and their children in free education in the field of performing arts and in the organisation of the Baofest Festival (www.isak.si).
